Workshop Module 2

Dear all,
Congratulations!
This mail confirms all of you have completed the Learning Organization Module 2
Core Competency Workshop and qualify for the next level of the core competency
workshop series. Your records are now updated against LOPN's records in which
case you would automatically receive invitations from the network for its upcoming
workshops.
At this stage you have developed a strong foundation of the work and should allow
you to begin to notice patterns over time and the deeper underlying systemic
structures that control these patterns and events around you. This is the objective of
this program. You would never look at newspaper articles the only way that you used
to look at before.
I am leaving here the structures to the case-studies that you attempted within the
manual for your reference. I did want to reflect back to the group that when I watched
you as you were drawing the structures to the case-studies towards the end of the
day, there was an easeness and therefore a greater sense of willingness with which
you were thinking your way through the causal loops (seeing the deep dive) - that
certainly was not there on first day of the workshop. You are certainly on track to
make this work become easier for you over time. There is no question about it!You
have come very far and yet if you feel that you now know less than when you first
started on this journey, actually I would like to say, welcome to the club!

- You are welcome to participate on the group's practice workshops and LO
Clinics/Gatherings. Practice workshops are sessions where you have
opportunities to practice Systems Thinking archetypes on live cases. If you
wish to volunteer to coordinate this effort please left me know. These are
opportunities for you to practice identifying archetypes on live issues.
- Immediate next steps: For now again, focus on noticing what you have learnt
about system archetypes in yourself and the world around you! Try small
things and be patient with yourself and those around you and do consider
coming back to the follow-up levels. Continue to question what keeps these
structures alive around us. Happy exploring and discovering!
- The next step is learning to uncover personal frames that often get in the way
of noticing these patterns and underling structures and learning to engage in
skillful discussions and dialogue (Leg of Generative Conversations). This is the
content of Level 3 LOPN Core Competency Workshop.
